High speed motor is much expensive but much durable & usable, not unless you got lemon. While the high speed gear is less expensive but more prone to breackage, once you have broken a spur or sector gear you cannot simply use other type of gears to replace it, not unless you use same type of gears for replacement.

i agree with sir Apache's advice, i used to have hi rof setups and heres my parts;

jg m93 red motor - cheap and durable (basing on my experience)
5KU 13:1 hi speed gearset - better than shs with the same price. (i used to have both for
comparison)
a good piston body (i usually use jg red Pbody w/ metal teeth its cheaper than others)
sp120 spring or lower (to avoid breakage of internal parts)
Piston head w/ sorbo pad (very important. it will absorb the vibration caused by the hi
speed firing specially if you choose not to change your gearbox
to reinforced one)

this is as far i can remember.
hope this helps.
Good day.
